The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will increase from midnight, Sunday, July 27, by amounts ranging from 45 cents to $2.25, depending on the cylinder size.

A statement from the Division of Energy today announced that the retail price of LPG will move from $171.05 to $173.30 per 100 lb. cylinder and from $47.85 to $48.45 per 25 lb. cylinder. The price of the 22 lb. cylinder will increase from $42.30 to $42.80 and the 20 lb. cylinder will now retail at $38.90, up from $38.45.

These increases are in keeping with Government???s policy to allow retail prices to be reflective of those in the international market. The adjustment in retail price is due solely to changes in the CIF of this refined product, the Energy Division stated.
