The Transport Authority has reminded commuters that tomorrow, Saturday, June 18 and on Sunday, June 19, Waterford Road, from its junction at Combermere to the Clyde Walcott Roundabout at Hothersal, will be closed.

As a result, route diversions for bus services which traverse Waterford Road will be in effect.

Services from the River Terminal to Bathsheba, Martins Bay, Proute, Market Hill, and Groves Development, and services from the Fairchild Street Terminal to Bathsheba, Sugar Hill, Chalky Mount, Flat Rock, and Martins Bay will be affected.

Services leaving Bridgetown will travel from the James A. Tudor Roundabout, proceed along Tweedside Road, turn left at Fairfield Road, and then proceed on to Welches.

Buses will then continue along My Lord’s Hill to the Norman A. Niles Roundabout, turn left on to the ABC Highway, right at the Clyde Walcott Roundabout on to Highway 3A at Hothersal and then proceed as usual.

On the inbound route to Bridgetown, at the Clyde Walcott Roundabout buses will turn left onto the ABC Highway, proceed to the Norman A. Niles Roundabout, turn west on to My Lord’s Hill, and proceed to Welches.

They will then turn right at the Post Office, left on to Fairfield Road, right on to Tweedside Road, proceed to the James A. Tudor Roundabout, turn on to Roebuck Street and proceed as usual to the terminals.
