The Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources is advising the public that roadworks have started from the Clyde Walcott Roundabout, along Hothersal in the direction of Kelsi’s Supermarket to Lears.

Crews from C.O. Williams Construction will conduct scheduled work from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. During this time, only local and emergency vehicles will have access to the road which will otherwise be closed to vehicular traffic. Drivers should use alternate routes.

Motorists driving through the area during the day may experience delays because the road surface has been removed. This may also cause a bottleneck at the Clyde Walcott Roundabout and traffic congestion along both sides of the Errol Barrow section of the Highway, and Waterford Road.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes to avoid any inconvenience.
