The funeral procession for former Governor General, Sir Clifford Husbands, will depart Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael, tomorrow, Friday, November 3, at 7:45 a.m.

The procession, which will be accompanied by pallbearers from the Barbados Defence Force and outriders from the Royal Barbados Police Force, will proceed to the junction of Passage Road, Country Road and White Park Road; turn left to Bank Hall; continue on to Bush Hall and proceed to the roundabout at Stadium Road.

It will turn right along Combermere School to the junction of Hothersal Road, turn left and continue to the Hothersal roundabout of the ABC Highway. The convoy will move along the highway towards Warrens and connect to the Ronald Mapp Highway, proceeding directly to the Mile & A Quarter Junction, St. Peter.

The procession will turn right at Mile & A Quarter Junction and left at the Rose Hill Junction, passing Farrs Children’s Home. It will turn left and continue to the roundabout at St. Lucy’s Parish Church, taking the right turn into the church’s entrance. The procession is expected to arrive at 8:30 a.m.

The State Funeral for Sir Clifford, which begins at 10:00 a.m., will be broadcast live on television and radio.
