Barbadian citizens studying in the United States of America are invited to apply for financial aid, in the form of interest free education loans, through the Organization of American States’ (OAS), Leo S. Rowe Pan American Fund (Rowe Fund).

The Rowe Fund is an education loan programme, which assists citizens of Latin American and Caribbean OAS Member States in securing funds to supplement, rather than cover student expenses related to their studies. Under the programme, students can receive interest-free loans of up to US$15,000.

Eligible persons must be enrolled in graduate studies, exchange programmes, professional training, or in the last two years of undergraduate studies. Programmes should have a minimum duration of one semester (at least four months), and should not exceed two years.

For additional information, persons may visit the OAS website.
