Come next week philatelists will be able to purchase a new Commemorative Stamp Issue.
Beginning on Wednesday, August 3, the Barbados Postal Service will have in circulation four new stamps featuring The Royal Wedding.
The denominations are: 15 cents – Catherine arriving at Westminster Abbey with her sister Pippa; 65 cents – Carriage ride back to Buckingham Palace; $1.80 – The couple exiting the Abbey; $2.20 – Prince William and Princess Catherine?? waving from the balcony; $4.80 – Set of mint stamps; $5.55 – First Day Cover.
Official First Day Covers may be bought or ordered from the Philatelic Bureau, General Post Office, Bridgetown, as well as the website http://www.bps.gov.bb/.
Interested persons may visit the Philatelic Bureau, Post Office Building, Cheapside, Bridgetown, which is opened Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.??
