Enterprise Budgeting: Planning for Profit will be the title of a Rural Rising Workshop hosted by the Rural Development Commission (RDC) next week.
The workshop will take place next Tuesday, October 27, in the RDC???s Training Room, Bridge Street, St. Michael, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
The objective of it is to give the Commission???s loans clients information on how to prepare a farm budget, how to use it as a tool for making decisions pertaining to the farm, and how it supports investment strategies.
Some 40 vegetable-producing clients are expected to benefit from the presentation by Alvin Romeo of the Ministry of Agriculture. Director of the RDC, Randolph Outram, will deliver welcome remarks.
