The Economic Affairs Division has advised that scholarship applications are available for a number of certificate programmes offered by eCornell, the online learning subsidiary of Cornell University.

The courses being offered are: Change Leadership, Financial Management, Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals, Measuring and Improving Business Performance, Hospitality Management, Strategic Human Resources Leadership and Marketing Strategy.

They will be conducted online for three months, commencing this August and ending November. The scholarship for these programmes covers 66.7 per cent of tuition fees.

Persons should apply for the Organisation of American States (OAS)-eCornell Scholarship through the OAS Scholarship website. The documents which must be uploaded to the application are: a copy of the undergraduate degree transcript; curriculum vitae; one recommendation letter; a copy of the Government issued ID (bio page of passport or copy of ID card); and proof of additional funds for costs not covered by the scholarship.

Selected candidates will then be informed that they should register for the particular certificate programme on eCornell’s website. Further information may be found on eCornell’s website and the website of the Organisation of American States. The deadline for applications is Monday, July 3.
