Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Senator Jepter Ince, will address the opening ceremony of the 9th Annual Lecture Series Seminar hosted by the Division of Economic Affairs tomorrow, Friday, September 25.
The seminar, which has as its theme: Economic Recovery: A Reality Through Growth, Productivity and Reform, takes place in the Warrens Suite, 5th Floor, Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael, at 9:00 a.m.
Presentations to be delivered throughout the day include Tourism and the Barbadian Economy; The Youth Online Social Networking Health-Risk Model: Applications for New Drug Use Prevention Strategies in Barbados; and Social Enterprise, Poverty and the State: How Public Policy Can Change The World.
Featured speaker will be Carson Browne, former Permanent Secretary in the Economic Affairs Division, who will also be honoured during the opening ceremony for his distinguished public service to Barbados.
