Barbadian businesses interested in gaining access to markets in the European Union (EU) are urged to participate in the virtual seminar being hosted by the Barbados National Standards Institution (BNSI) and the CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality.
The webinar on Labelling and Packaging for Accessing the EU Market will take place on Wednesday, September 1, from 10:00 a.m. The aim is to improve Barbadian companies’ access to the EU market, by enhancing their knowledge about EU labelling and packaging rules, and regulations for pre-packaged goods.
It is envisioned that at the end of the seminar, participants would have a greater understanding of the CARIFORUM-EU Economic Partnership Agreement, and the opportunities for maximising market access, as well as improving their companies’ trade performance.
