In a continuing effort to educate its stakeholders about the Schools Positive Behavioural Management Project (formerly the Child Friendly School Initiative), the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Office for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, will host a training/sensitisation workshop for representatives of civil society.

Civil society members who currently conduct extra curricular activities in schools, which are part of the programme, are the target of this training, which comes off next Thursday, October 21, at the Savannah Hotel, Hastings, Christ Church.

The schools are: Chalky Mount Primary School; Christ Church Girls’ School; George Lamming Primary; Mount Tabor Primary; St. Ambrose Primary; St. Elizabeth Primary; St. Giles Primary; Workman’s Primary; West Terrace Primary School and St. Leonard’s Boys’ School.
