A Service of the Royal Victorian Order (RVO) will be held in April this year in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, London, for recipients of the Order and holders of the Royal Victorian Medal (RVM).

According to an official release, Her Majesty the Queen "has commanded" that such a Service be held on Wednesday, April 13, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Reception in the State Apartments of Windsor Castle for all members and Medallists of the Order attending the Service.

Tickets for the Service and Reception will be restricted to members of the RVO and holders of the RVM only, because of limited seating capacity. Spouses or other guests who are not members or Medallists of the Order and Honorary members are not eligible to attend.

Those members who wish to attend should apply for tickets as soon as possible, but not later than Friday, March 4, clearly stating their name, address, telephone number and grade within the Order. They should also state if they require a parking permit and if they have any special requirements for access to, and seating in, St. George’s Chapel.

Application should be made through the website http://www.rvoservice.org.uk/ , or in writing to the Registrar of the Royal Victorian Order, Central Chancery of the Orders of Knighthood, St. James Palace, London, SW1A, 1BH.
