When the Lower House resumes tomorrow, Friday, August 6, there are several items down for debate.

Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Freundel Stuart, will move the First Readings of three amendments. They are the Betting and Gaming Duties Bill, the Value Added Tax Bill, and the Income Tax (No.3) Bill. He will also pilot the Final Appropriation (2009-2010) Bill.

Meanwhile, Minister of Housing and Lands, Michael Lashley, will seek to have approved the vesting in the National Housing Corporation, Crown land at Parish Land, St. Philip for housing development. This is in accordance with Section Five of the Crown Lands (Vesting and Disposal) Act. Cap. 225. clashley@barbados.gov.bb
