Registration is currently open for all persons interested in learning sign language.
The programme, being offered by the National Disabilities Unit, comprises classes at the Basic II and Intermediate levels for adults.
The Basic ll classes are being held at the Irving Wilson School, Pine Plantation Road, St. Michael, on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The Intermediate classes are being held at the Springer Memorial School, Government Hill, St. Michael, on Mondays and Tuesdays, also from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Registration takes place at both venues from Monday, January 27, to Thursday, January 30, between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.
