Members of the public interested in participating in Exercise TRADEWINDS 2017 (EX TW17) can now obtain volunteer sign-up forms from a number of locations.
Forms are available from the EX TW17 Secretariat, located at the Department of Emergency Management, No. 30 Warrens Industrial Park, Warrens, St. Michael, and the Barbados Government Information Service, at its new location in the Old Town Hall Building, Cheapside, St. Michael.
Alternatively, forms may also be collected from the Barbados Defence Force’s bases at St. Ann’s Fort, Garrison, St. Michael; Paragon, Christ Church; or the HMBS Pelican, Spring Garden, St. Michael.
Completed forms may be returned to any of the above-mentioned locations for processing.
In addition, persons may also sign up via EX TW17’s official website or contact the Secretariat at 438-7575, for more information.
All persons signing up to be volunteers must be 18 years or older. They should also ensure that their contact details are clearly written on the forms.
