Past and present students of the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology (SJPI) are invited to design an original mural as part of the Institute’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
The design should reflect the historical journey and vision of the SJPI in the context of its internal and external activities as an integral part of community and national development.
The successful individual or group with the winning design will receive a certificate of commendation; a 21” x 36” print of the finished mural design with the institution’s official stamp; a cash prize of BDS $300; design promotion and recognition across SJPI’s social media platforms and website; and recognition in the monthly SJPI newsletter.
Additionally, six other finalists will receive free exposure on SJPI’s official website and social media platforms.
Submissions must be made no later than 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2019. The winner will be announced onWednesday, July 10.
All submissions should be securely packaged, contained in a sealed envelope and addressed to SJPI Mural Design Competition, Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology, Wildey, St. Michael, 11103, Barbados.
