The Media Resource Centre (MRC) of the Samuel Jackman Institute of Technology (SJPI) will get a shot in the arm on Thursday, April 7, when the United States (US) Embassy in Bridgetown donates a set of books to that Wildey, St. Michael institution.
Public Affairs Officer with the US Embassy, Larry Socha, will present the books to Principal of the SJPI, Ian Drakes, in a handover ceremony, which takes placeat 10:00 a.m. in the MRC.
Mr. Socha, and Chairman of the SJPI, Shelton Perkins, are expected to deliver brief remarks.
