The management of the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology (SJPI) has advised the public that essential services will resume on Monday, March 23, 2020.

Free online applications for the upcoming academic year 2020-2021 will be re-opened on Saturday, March 21, and will be available until Friday, April 10.

Persons required to show proof of certification are asked to send scanned copies of certificates to studentservices@sjpi.edu.bb.

Applicants will be required to bring the original documents for verification if they are invited to an interview at a later date.  Individuals are asked to check their emails regularly for communication and updates from the Student Services division.

Most meetings and learning activities will be conducted through electronic technologies, therefore instructional and administrative staff and students are asked to check their email and the Trident Learning Platform daily for information and guidance.

The ancillary staff is required to report for work as usual, while administrative and academic staff would be informed by their supervisors of the designated time to report to work on Monday, March 23.

The management of the SJPI is concerned about the safety of its stakeholders and, to this end, is ensuring the sanitization of its campus.

Persons are asked to call 535-2200 for advice, before attempting to visit the campus.  And, they are expected to give SJPI’s security services their fullest cooperation if they have need to visit the campus.

Additionally, all visitors are advised to follow the health and safety guidelines set out by the SJPI and the Ministry of Health and Wellness as it relates to COVID-19.
