The Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP), in collaboration with AC Manufacturing, will host: 50 & Beyond: An Exhibition and Assessment of the First Cohort of the CBTF-funded NVQ/CVQ programmes.

The exhibition will be held in SJPP’s Campus Auditorium, at Wildey, St. Michael, from Wednesday, October 26, to Friday, October 28.  The event, which will officially open at 10:00 a.m. on October 26, will involve the Ministries of Culture, Labour and Education.

Exhibits will showcase the revolution in garment technology and highlight one of SJPP’s top students, who recently shared her collection at the famous Plitz New York City Fashion Week. Thirty-six other candidates vying for certification across four genres will also be featured.

Members of the public, as well as others with an interest in Garment Technology and Textile Design Industries, are invited to participate.

Industry stakeholders and the press may attend on Wednesday, October 26, from 1:00. to 5:30 p.m.;  while the general public may visit on Thursday,  October 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or may Join the SJPP as it celebrates its youth with “Pride and Industry” on Friday, October 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
