The economic contribution of the small business sector will come to the fore during the Small Business Association’s (SBA) Small Business Week 2021, from Sunday, September 19, to Saturday, September 25.

The week is celebrated annually to bring national attention to the micro, small and medium-sized sectors by highlighting the achievements of members. It will be held under the theme: Building Back Better: The Road to a Resilient & Resourceful Recovery

The celebrations get under way with a church service on Sunday, September 19, at New Dimensions Ministries, starting at 8:30 a.m., and carried live on Facebook at www.facebook.com/sbabarbados and www.facebook.com/ndmbarbados.

On Tuesday, September 21, Minister of Energy, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Kerrie Symmonds, will deliver remarks at the virtual State of the Sector Regional Conference, entitled The Regional Perspective, which will be streamed on Zoom and on the SBA’s Facebook page, from 9:30 a.m. Interested persons may register by clicking here.

The following day, Wednesday, September 22, there will be a youth forum starting at noon, on the SBA’s Facebook page.
