Modern Small Ruminant Management will be the focus of a workshop being hosted by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture and the Food and Agriculture Organization, in association with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. It will take place from Monday, September 24, to Wednesday, September 26.

On Monday and Tuesday, the workshop will be held at Greenland, St. Andrew, and on Wednesday, at the Ministry’s headquarters at Graeme Hall, Christ Church.

Some of the topics to be covered are: Overview of Small Ruminant Development in the Region: Possibilities and Challenges, Overview of Small Ruminant Nutrition, Developing Feed Rations for Small Ruminants and Small Ruminant Marketing and Processing: The Barbados Experience.
