Students of some 22 secondary schools, involved in the Schools’ Positive Behaviour Management Programme (SPBMP), will soon learn more about important skills to aid them in leadership roles.

The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development will hold a one-day workshop next Monday, March 12 at the St. Leonard’s Boys’ School.

Student Leadership is the title of the seminar, which will be facilitated by National Technical Officer with the SPBMP, Nicole Lynch.

It will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the school’s auditorium in Richmond Gap, St. Michael.

A major aim of the training is to develop student leaders in the classroom whose leadership skills will benefit the school and the society.
