The Sanitation Service Authority (SSA) has advised the public that household collections will continue to be carried out on the Public Holidays, Monday, December 26 and Boxing Day, Tuesday, December 27.

On Monday, December 26, collections will be done in the northern parishes of St. Lucy, St. Peter, St. Thomas, and St. James; as well as the southern parishes of St. Philip, St. George, St. John and upper Christ Church.

On Tuesday, December 27, collection will continue in lower Christ Church and St. Michael.

??The public is asked to note that only the districts and/or housing areas normally serviced on Mondays and Tuesdays in the indicated parishes will be serviced on the holidays.

Normal service will resume on Wednesday, December 28, according to regular scheduling.

The SSA is also urging persons to freeze all offal until the time of collection.

All landfills will be closed on the indicated days, with the exception of the Mangrove Pond Landfill which will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and the Bagatelle Disposal Site from 8:00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m. on Tuesday.
