??Residents in St. Andrew are being encouraged to come out and participate in the parish activites which kick off this coming Friday, September 3, and climax on Sunday, September 19.

On Friday, there will be a crab night at Ann’s Bar which is located at the corner of Lakes and East Coast Road. It starts at 7:00 p.m. The following day, Saturday, September 4, patrons will be treated to vintage music, during a back in time social at the Alleyne School, from 8:00 p.m.?? On Sunday, September 5, there will be a church service at the St. Saviour’s Anglican Church, beginning at 8:00 a.m.

On Saturday, September 11, Heroes Square, The City, will be the venue for a pottery re-enactment sale, starting at 10:00 a.m.?? Residents will get an opportunity to test their general knowledge during a quiz night at the Alleyne School, on Thursday, September, 16.?? The event will commence at 7:00 p.m.

The activities will move into high gear on Saturday, September 18, with a heritage fair on the Belleplaine playing field starting at 11:00 a.m.?? The festivities will culminate on Sunday, September 19, with a senior citizens bus ride to the King George V Memorial Park, St. Philip, starting at 10:00 a.m.??jwilson@barbados.gov.bb
