In an effort to improve the livelihood of residents in St. George, as well as to widen economic enfranchisement and empower them, the St. George Parish Independence Committee will stage an Entrepreneurship Expo at month-end.

The Expo, which is called Funding Your Dream, will be held on Saturday, September 29, under the patronage of Minister of Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Commerce, Dwight Sutherland, at Crystal Gardens, The Glebe, St. George .

It runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will cater to micro-enterprises, new and local businesses and entrepreneurs across St. George.

The key objectives of the Entrepreneurship Expo are to encourage business networking and create new job opportunities for residents, who will be able to advertise, exhibit, market, promote, and sell their products and services. A registration fee will be charged.

Registration forms may be collected from Ellerton Resource, Valley Resource and Greens Resource Centres. For further information, interested persons may contact Pauline Eversley at 245-2007, or Shaunell Moore at 254-8687.
