The St. George South Constituency Council aims to "Keep Barbados Beautiful", and, to this end, has embarked on an Environmental Beautification and Clean-up Programme, which gets under way this week.
This Friday, May 13, the Council will officially launch the initiative at the Ellerton Primary School, St. George, starting at 10:00 a.m.
The programme entails the placement of garbage cans at schools in St. George South for bottle collection, and to encourage students to raise funds from the exercise. Cans will also be placed at strategic locations throughout the constituency.
