The St. George Parish Independence Committee will be hosting its parish month activities in June.

The month of activities will begin with Expressions – A Cultural Journey: Gun Hill Under the Stars, on Saturday, June 8, at 6:30 p.m.

The following day, Sunday, June 9, the committee will hold a Handover and Induction Service, at the Newbury Nazarene Church, Newbury, St. George, at 10:15 a.m.

On Whit Monday, June 10, beginning at 6:00 a.m., the committee will host a Community Clean Up, with one team meeting at the old South District Primary School, while another will be tackling Crystal Gardens, at Glebe, St. George.

The activities continue on Saturday, June 22, with a Glow Walk from Bulkeley Sugar Factory to Gun Hill, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

A few days later, Tuesday, June 25, committee members will conduct a ‘Business to Business Discussion’, at the Valley Resource Center, Valley, St. George, at 7:00 p.m.

Later that week, on Sunday, June 30, their Talent Show, ‘Light In De Valley – One People, One Community’, will take place at St. George Primary School, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
