The St. John HIV/AIDS Education Committee, in collaboration with the Community Development Department, will be staging the St. John’s Primary School’s HIV/AIDS bonnet parade next month.
It will take place on Saturday, June 19 at the Gall Hill Hard Courts, St. John, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
It is being held under the patronage of Mara Thompson, wife of Prime Minister David Thompson.
The parade is being organised as a means of sensitising residents of St. John about the dangers of HIV/AIDS, in a creative way.
All are invited.
