As part of Barbados’ 50th anniversary of Independence celebrations, the St. Joseph Constituency Council will host an awards ceremony for constituents who have made a significant contribution to that parish’s development.

Awards will be given in the categories of Education, Agriculture, Religion, Health, Tourism, Entrepreneurship, Sports, Performing Arts and Youth Development.

Each nomination must be accompanied by a short biography providing background information on the nominee and indicating why he or she should be awarded.

Nomination forms can be obtained from the Department of Constituency Empowerment, 4th Floor, Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael; the St. Joseph Public Library, Tamarind Hall, St. Joseph; or from Chairman of the St. Joseph Constituency Council, Canon Errington Massiah, at the St. Joseph Rectory, Horse Hill, St. Joseph.
