The St. Joseph Parish Independence Committee will host a health education extravaganza, this Sunday, July 7 at 4:30 p.m. at the Grantley Adams Memorial School.

It will be held under the theme: Eliminating Chronic Health Obstacles: Security for the Future and under the patronage of renowned Cardiologist, Dr. Raymond Massay.

This health outreach is part of the St. Joseph Parish Independence Committee???s project, E.C.H.O ??? Educating Communities on Healthier Options. It will feature a number of health-related presentations, interactive sessions and food sampling.

In addition to, Dr. Massay presentations will be done by Project Manager of the Piloting Climate Change Adaptation to Protect Human Health, Winfred Austin Greaves; Nutrition and Herbal Educator, Annette Maynard-Watson; Vegetarian Nutritionist, Esther Selman; Pastor and Psychotherapist, Pastor Ricardo Selman, and Nursing Educator, Ava Griffith.
