Members of the public are invited to celebrate with the St. Joseph Parish Independence Committee in April as they host their parish month activities.

On Wednesday, April 3, persons will be able to meet the members of the St. Joseph Parish Independence Committee at their Meet and Greet, at Bathsheba, from 8:30 a.m.  A church service will be held at the Antioch Church, Coffee Gully on Sunday, April 7, at 9:30 a.m.

Josephine Connection – A Night of Poetry and Music – will take place at the St. Bernard’s Primary School, Lammings, on Saturday, April 13, beginning at 7:00 p.m.  The following Saturday, April 20, Bathsheba by Night, a celebration of local food, talent and community spirit, will take place at Bathsheba, from 6:00 p.m.

Persons are invited to also come out on Easter Monday, April 22, at 11:00 a.m., for the annual kite flying at the Andrews Sugar Factory pasture.  On Friday, April 26, the month of activities will come to a close with a Colour Day, when persons are encouraged to wear the parish colour, teal.
