Barbadians and visitors will once again have the opportunity to see first-hand aspects of this island’s natural beauty, when the Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU) stages another sundown beach walk in the parish of St. Lucy.
The expedition takes place on Saturday, August 27, beginning at Cove Bay, at 3:00 p.m. and culminating at North Point.
Participants are asked to assemble in the car park of the CZMU, Bay Street, St. Michael by 2:00 p.m. for the departure by bus at 2:15 p.m. In order to cope with the rough terrain, persons are advised to wear the appropriate footwear, for example, hiking boots, and shoes. Loose fitting clothing is also recommended.
Bus tickets, which will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, may be collected from the CZMU or the Ministry of Tourism, weekdays from Monday, August 22 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
