The public is invited to join the St. Lucy Parish Independence Committee in celebrating its month of activities.?? July is the month assigned to the northern parish.

St. Lucy’s series of events will commence on Sunday, July 7, with a service at the Fustic Wesleyan Holiness Church, St. Lucy at 8:30 a.m.?? Later that day, there will be a Bicycle Boogie which is slated to start at the Checker Hall Pavilion.?? Registration will begin at 2:00 p.m. but the ride will start at 3:00 p.m.

St. Lucy’s parish project will be judged at Connell Town’s House of Prayer on Saturday, July 13, at 4:00 p.m.

On Saturday, July 27, at 6:00 a.m., a sponsored walk, held under the theme Walking for a Healthier Heart, will start at North Stars and end at River Bay.?? Later that day, a health fair will also be held at Half Moon Fort Primary School from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

A gardening workshop, organised by the St. Lucy Treasure and Garden Club, is scheduled for Sunday, July 28, at 3:00 p.m. at the North Stars Cultural and Social Club.??

Later that day at 5:00 p.m., a 3rd Degree Burn Boot Camp will be held on the Checker Hall Pavilion.?? It will conclude at 7:00 p.m.
