The St. Michael Central Constituency Council will be staging a traditional Village Market, and is therefore, encouraging persons from that constituency to register by Thursday, June 28, for a space to sell their goods and services.

The event will take place at the Andrew Alleyne Pavilion, Station Hill, St. Michael, on Saturday, June 30, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Traditional Bajan breakfast, lunch and dinner will be on sale, and the Council is urging members of the community who own coal pots, butt pots and other items which portray Barbadian heritage, to come out and demonstrate how they are used.

There will also be a number of items on sale including: art, craft, clothes, plants, vegetables and jewelry, while persons will be on hand to conduct free health checks. Children will be treated to face painting, clowns, storytelling and jumping tents.

Persons interested in selling food and drinks are asked to obtain the necessary health certificates and licenses, while all participants are asked to provide their own tents.

Registration forms may be collected from, and returned to, the St. Michael Central Constituency Council Office, Waterford Community Centre, Waterford, St. Michael. Interested persons may also contact Shephone Howell at 241-0219, or Jabbar Niles at 310-1646, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
