The St. Peter Parish Independence Committee will be hosting three activities as a lead up to this year???s independence celebrations.

First will be a lecture/presentation on the topic: Indiscriminate Burning of Garbage can be Hazardous to Health and Heritage, by the Barbados Fire Service at the St. Peter???s Parish Church on Wednesday, September 17, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

A heritage bus tour will take place on Sunday, September 28, starting from the Speightstown Resource Centre at 12:30 p.m. Space is limited and interested persons are asked to contact Public Relations Officer, Chester Bristol at 824-9444.

The final activity will be a skills display of participants of the 2014 Parish Project: ???G.R.O.W 166???, on Saturday, October 11, at the Speightstown Resource Centre from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
