Philatelists and sporting enthusiasts can soon expect the Barbados Postal Service to release a new Commemorative Issue of four stamps featuring “Motor Sports”.
The denominations, which will be available from Monday, June 12, are: ten cents Triumph TR4 June Rally 1970; 65 cents Mitsubishi Shogun Mud Dogs 2011; $1.80 Toyota Starlet Sprint Event 1988; $2.20 Subaru Impreza WRC Sol Rally 2012; $4.75 Set of four stamps; $5.50 First Day Cover and $5.00 Souvenir Sheet.
Official First Day Covers may be bought or ordered from the Philatelic Bureau, General Post Office, Bridgetown, or ordered from the website www.barbadospostal.com.
The opening hours of the Philatelic Bureau are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
