Today’s curfew time has been extended to 8:00 p.m.

Acting Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw announced this today during the Down To Brass Tacks Call-In Programme.

She said after consultation with the Attorney General, Dale Marshall, and stakeholders, it was decided to move the curfew time from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. based on what was happening at supermarkets, in terms of people being outside of them.

Mr. Marshall said the extension was to give supermarkets, which are to close at 5:00 p.m., the time to sort themselves out and allow staff to make their way home before the new curfew time of 8:00 p.m.
