From next week first, second, third and fourth form students of the Combermere School will temporarily be housed at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP).

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has advised that the students are required to report for classes from Monday, May 4 when school will resume as usual at 8:30 a.m.

Students should enter the SJPP only from the entrance nearest to the Caribbean Development Bank. This is the first left after the SJPP???s main entrance.??Parents are advised that the Transport Board has arranged for buses to carry students to the SJPP.

The buses will leave Combermere School, Waterford and the Ministry of Education, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, at 8:00 a.m. and Oistins, Christ Church and Speightstown, St. Peter, at 7:30 a.m. Parents are asked to provide packed lunches for students.

However, there will be NO SCHOOL for Combermere students at the SJPP on Tuesday, May 5, when primary school students write the Barbados Secondary Schools??? Entrance Examination.

Meanwhile, the Parent Teacher Association meeting scheduled for Saturday, May 2, will now be held in the SJPP Auditorium at 4:00 p.m. All parents are invited to attend.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has also advised that CSEC/CAPE Examinations for May 4 to May 8, 2015 for Combermere students will be held at the Erdiston Teachers??? Training College, Pine Hill, St. Michael.

According to the Ministry, these students will be expected to make their own transportation arrangements for travel to Erdiston Teachers??? Training College.

Examinations for Electronic Document Preparation and Management (EDPM), Music, Technical Drawing and Mechanical Engineering will take place at the pre-arranged locations.
