Come next week, Independence and Barbados’ foreign policy will be the focus of a photographic exhibition and multimedia presentation mounted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and International Business under the theme “Doing Credit to Our Nation”.

On Tuesday, November 25, fifth form students from the Garrison, St. Michael, Springer Memorial and Seventh Day Adventist secondary schools will view the display.

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and International Business, Donville Inniss, will address the students on how Barbados used its independence to be the foremost developing nation in the United Nations Human Development Index, and to carve out its own place in the world.

Persons conducting business at the Ministry will have the opportunity to view the exposition during office hours until Thursday, November 27.
