Resident or non-resident Corporations in Barbados have been reminded that they are required to pay tax to the Department of Inland Revenue by tomorrow, June 15.

This applies to the fiscal period ending from October 1 to December 31, 2009.

Corporations that fail to file returns by the required date, or to estimate the tax payable, will incur a penalty of $100, together with an additional penalty of five per cent of tax assessed and unpaid.

The Department of Inland Revenue has stated that manual filing is still an option; however electronic filing is the preferred method available through the website at https://etax.ird.gov.bb.

Draft accounts will not be accepted. clashley@barbados.gov.bb
