Students, who deferred taking the 2013 Barbados Secondary Schools??? Entrance Examination (BSSEE) or the 11-plus exam, will get the opportunity to improve their knowledge this summer.

This is when the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation conducts its summer school for them from July 9 to August 8, at George Lamming Primary School, Flint Hall, St. Michael.

The programme is aimed at improving the student???s performance, skills and conceptual understanding in areas of difficulty related to Language Arts and Mathematics.

Participants will be exposed to study skills as well as confidence-building activities. The programme will also assist in strengthening the emotional dimension of students??? interactions.

Parents and guardians who were previously unable to register children are required to bring them to St. Mary???s Primary School, Mason Hall Street, St. Michael this Friday, July 5, from 9:00 a.m. to complete the diagnostic testing and registration process.
