Secondary school students who are scheduled to attend the summer school organised by the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development to improve their knowledge and skills in core subjects, are reminded that sessions start next week.

According to a Ministry official, the children, who were chosen by their respective principals to attend classes are asked to report to their designated centres at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 5.?? They must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Students from the Alexandra School, Alma Parris, Coleridge and Parry, St. Lucy Secondary and St. James Secondary are asked to report to the Alexandra School, while those from Christ Church Foundation, Deighton Griffith, Princess Margaret and the Lodge School should all go to the Christ Church Foundation School.

Ellerslie Secondary is the centre where children from that school as well as those from Queen’s College, Lester Vaughan and Springer Memorial are expected to report.?? Pupils who attend St. George Secondary, Grantley Adams Memorial and the Alleyne School are advised to go to St. George Secondary for classes.

Persons selected from the Garrison Secondary, St. Leonards Boys’ School, Combermere, Parkinson Memorial and The St. Michael School, are scheduled to have lessons at the St. Leonard’s Boys’ School.

Bus passes will be provided for those students who have been chosen to attend summer school.??kmoore@barbados.gov.bb
