The Coastal Zone Management Unit’s (CZMU) upcoming Sundown Beach/Coastline/Cliff Top Walk will be heading to the parish of St. Andrew come Saturday, March 31.
Participants will set off from Barclays Park, St. Andrew at 3:00 p.m., and their journey will come to an end at Morgan Lewis, in the same parish.
Bus transportation will be provided from the CZMU’s car park on Bay Street, St. Michael, from 2:00 p.m. Walkers are asked to assemble there no later than 1:45 p.m.
Participants are asked to wear appropriate shoes (preferably beach shoes or sneakers) to walk on the beach.
Any person wearing inappropriate foot wear (such as flip flops), will not be allowed to board the bus.
The initiative is part of the unit’s programme to get as many Barbadians as possible, to appreciate their surroundings in a safe and healthy way.
