Once again, locals and visitors can experience a walk steeped in the cultural heritage of Barbados!

This is when the Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU), hosts its next Environmental Awareness Sundown Beach Walk, on Saturday, June 27, starting at Weston, St. James and ending at Schooner Bay in St. Peter.

The walk, which gets under way at 4:00 p.m., will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about issues related to beach erosion at Mullins in St. Peter.

Interested persons are asked to assemble in the car park of the CZMU, located in Bay Street, St. Michael, by 3:15 p.m., in preparation for the event.

Transport Board Buses will be provided to take patrons back to their vehicles and a limited number of free bus tickets are now available.

They can be collected from the Ministry of Tourism, Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Conference Centre, Two Mile, Hill, St. Michael, or from the CZMU, until Wednesday, June 24, from 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m, weekdays.

Members of the public are invited to attend.
