Barbadians and visitors alike will have an opportunity to engage in healthy exercise while exploring Barbados’ scenic coast next Saturday, May 28.
The Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU) will be staging a sundown beach walk on that day from Paynes Bay to Folkestone Marine Park, St. James. It will begin at 3:30 p.m.
Bus transportation for participants will leave the CZMU’S Bay street car park at 3:00 p.m. and, as a result, persons are asked to assemble by 2:45 p.m. for a prompt departure.
Individuals should wear beach shoes or sneakers. Bus tickets can be collected from the CZMU or the Ministry of Tourism, Lloyd Eskine Sandiford Centre, from Monday, May 23 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The CZM has advised member of the public that a limited number of tickets are available. (CL/BGIS)
