Nature lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy the island’s scenic north coast next Saturday, November 21, when the Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU) hosts the next Sundown Cliff Top Walk.
Beginning at 3:30 p.m. the walk will start at Cove Bay, St. Lucy, and end at River Bay in that same parish.
Participants from the St. Lucy area are asked to meet at Cove Bay prior to the start time, while those not from the north should assemble at the CZMU’s Car Park, Bay Street, St. Michael,?? from?? 2:00 p.m. for free bus transportation to and from the walk.
Persons in need of transportation may collect bus tickets from the CZMU on week-days between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Organisers have advised participants to wear comfortable clothing, and to come prepared to "walk on the cliff top" on this particular trek.
Last month’s Sundown Beach Walk, organised by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the CZMU, went from Paynes Bay Fish Market to Folkestone Park, St. James.
