Approximately 30 persons will soon get an opportunity to improve their managerial skills.

That is because the Regional Security System Headquarters will be hosting a one-week Supervisory Management Course from Monday, February 25, at the BIMAP Building #3, Harbour Industrial Complex, St. Michael.

These persons will be from the Royal Barbados Police Force, the Barbados Defence Force, the Barbados Fire Service, the Immigration Department and CARICOM IMPACS Joint Regional Communications Centre.

The aim of the course is to increase participants’ analytical ability and problem-solving skills using modern management tools, and to provide them with the opportunity to apply creative techniques for leading and supervising teams effectively.

In addition, it is designed to assist participants in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to think and manage strategically, as well as experience different perspectives through group work.
