A number of supplementary items are expected to be debated tomorrow, February 22, when the Lower House convenes for its 85th sitting.

Minister of Transport and Works John Boyce, will move that Parliament resolves itself into Committee of Supply to consider the grant of sums of money for the service of the island.

This will involve the passing of a Resolution to grant the sum of $49,400,000 from the Consolidated Fund and to have it placed at the disposal of Government. The money is to be used to supplement the Estimates No. 11 2010-2011, which form the Schedule to the Resolution.

Meanwhile, members of the Lower House are also set to debate the First Reading of the Immigration (Validation of Function) Bill, 2011. It stands in the name of Prime Minister Freundel Stuart.??
