The St. Leonard’s Boys’ Junior Nation Builders Club, in conjunction with the Community Independence Secretariat, today embarked on a campaign to ???give hope to an afflicted child???.

The Club launched Donate A Dollar Day – Children Helping Children in aid of the Hope Foundation’s Children with Lupus and Sickle Cell Anemia cause. The Richmond Gap, St. Michael boys were the first to make their donations under the slogan: ???We are children helping children – what about you????

Project initiator and teacher at the St. Leonard’s Boys’ Secondary School, Winston Cumberbatch, urged all students across Barbados and members of the public to donate $1.00 to this cause between Wednesday, November 13 and Monday, November 25.

Donations can be made at schools, supermarkets and business places where Donate A Dollar Day posters and containers are displayed.
