Visits to public health care institutions have been suspended, and some facilities closed, as a result of the activation of Stage 1 of the Barbados National COVID-19 Preparedness Plan.
- Visits to all public and private geriatric institutions are suspended with immediate effect, until further notice.
- Visits to the Psychiatric Hospital, Black Rock, St. Michael, will be suspended from tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, until further notice.
- The St. Andrew, St. Thomas and St. Joseph Outpatients Clinics will be closed from tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, until further notice.
Members of the public are advised to contact the nearest polyclinic for any required service.
